My photo
I am always smiling. I'm the kind of girl who cranks music and can't resist but dancing while I clean. I have never been a morning person and have been known to crack open a pop before 8:00 a.m. I am a dog person but I have a kitten. Running and music are my therapy. I am a writer at heart but my writing is usually scattered. I have to be inspired to write, or something has to influence my life drastically enough for me to share my SC@TT3R3D BR@IN. :) I would say my writing is most summed up by this quote, "My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living." I work for a cause, not applause. I don't aim to be different, I aim to be me. Some may see that as different and that's okay by me.

Everyone has Two Faces

Imagine a world full of people that just spoke their mind. Now, imagine a world full of people that carefully considered every word spoke. Would anything get accomplished? Let me just paint the picture...

You work with an older lady who seems to think she knows everything - I mean everything - down to telling you how to do your job. You are educated. You earned your ranking. You make more money than she does. Forget the fact that she is only an administrative assistant, she knows how to do your job... your mother's job... and well, let's face it, the President of the United States' job.

What would we do if we didn't have that "I care what you're saying face," verses only having a "Go fly a kite face?" If everyone didn't have two faces, the world would be chaos.

Yes, that administrative assistant you work with might seriously, and I mean seriously, make you consider using your laptop charger as a noose, but let's just face it.... everyone likes to feel important.

I challenge you every morning, to compliment your wardrobe with an "I care what you're saying face." Know when it is appropriate to wear the "Go fly a kite face." And most importantly know the difference between the two. You will get a lot further with difficult people. Add ease to your world. And well... you just might make that administrative assistant's day.

Stir on that....
